Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia & Washington D.C.
So we drove up to Washington DC and stayed there for a night. On the way, we got to go to the National Air And Space Museum. Which means I got to see the Lockheed SR - 71A Blackbird which I was pretty excited about. That’s Jetfire & the X Men Plane in case you’re a normal person with normal interests.
Although I’ve never thought of Washington as a place that I’d like to visit in particular, I am really glad we took the time (five hours both ways) to travel down there for the night. It’s really beautiful, and has such incredible landmarks. My luck followed us there though; there was a bomb scare and a fire on the subway so our train had to be stopped and we had to sit in darkness for a bit.
