On Wednesday, mum, Jacob, Abbey, her mother and I all went to the IKEA near Leeds to get some bits and bobs for Jake and Abbey’s new home. Yes, I do go to IKEA a lot. As usual, I had a sort of vague idea of what I wanted to get and this time it was a couple of plant pots for my succulents. The problem is I often do that thing were I make up and decide upon what I want in my head, and for some reason I’m disappointed when I can’t find it in reality. And that I’m not magical so I can’t just wish it up. Does anyone else do that?
Anyway, rather surprisingly I didn’t find a single plant pot that I was willing to buy as all I could find was those white, paper-art looking ones which I already own and are too small for my plants. Saying that, maybe I was just wary because last time I bought something IKEA it was this hanging tray thinking it was a little cute tray only to find it’s bloody massive and I only just found somewhere to put it. It’s now my weird bedside table type thing that people always ask about like I’ve done something wrong.
Alas, this meant I had to spend an hour or so looking online for plant pots (or candle holders I can use as plant pots) so I thought I’d share them in this week’s Friday Finds. Some of them are from IKEA - because apparently I’m blind or the Leeds one hides their plant pots - which are pretty nice so no bad feelings!
