July 2015 has been busy!
Between my boyfriend’s graduation and leaving parties - he’s started his post doc in Stoke-On-Trent - I’ve spent almost the entire month in Girlfriend Mode. It’s far better than my default mode, which is usually Watching-Netflix-And-Eating-Toast, mostly because there was a lot of wine involved.
I’ve met some truly wonderful people throughout July, many of whom fed me to within an inch of my life. FYI, if you would ever like to be my friend all you have to do is give me food, preferably cookies. I am genuinely surprised that I’ve never been kidnapped.
Speaking of genuine surprise, since Amartya received his PhD my Grandmother’s dream of me dating a doctor has finally come true. Although, she now wants me to date a builder so she can get discounts on the bungalow she’s renovating. I think I’m going to start referring to her as my Grandmadam.
I plan to visit Amartya in Stoke-On-Trent in mid-August, but first The Moon Of My Life Rosy is finally coming to visit from Spain! I’m so excited to see her, it’s been so long!
I’m so proud of Amartya! By the way, my dress is from Joe Browns and is actually on sale at the moment if anyone is interested, it’s absolutely beautiful and so comfortable.
Although I didn’t mention it I was let go from one of my writing jobs last month, so I’ve spent a lot of time searching for new opportunities. I’ve started working for Hardcore Droid, so I’m finally a games writer and my posts are starting to be published on Lifehack again. I’m not sure what went on there but it went quiet for a really long time. Anyway, the difficulties I’ve faced over the past month have led me to create The Coffee Fund. I can get by on what I earn from writing online, but I cannot get by without coffee! Please check it out, I’d really appreciate any help you’re willing to give.
