Today, on Blogmas Day 17 no less, I’m about to throw down some truth, okay? Okay. Here goes: traditional Christmas cake is gross. Raisins, glazed cherries, candied peel, currants and brandy come together to create a monstrosity that is neither visually or taste…ually pleasing and so every year I sit happily munching on Quality Streets whilst everyone else destroys their tastebuds on Christmas Day.
