If Saturdays are for getting merry on Christmas cocktails, then Sundays are for eating Christmas cookies! I’ve used the term ‘cookies’ in the American sense as there were just so many lovely looking Christmas biscuits I couldn’t leave them out. Whilst we’re on the subject I was wondering what ‘biscuits’ refers to in America? And why are they eaten with gravy? Is gravy even the same thing? I get very confused by American ~cuisine~.
