February 2015: IKEA, House Of Cards & Then IKEA Again

IMG_1933

If I had to pick the most uneventful months of the year, I think it would always inevitably be February. It’s completely indescribably uneventful: like the grey or porridge of months. That said, I have been busy but it all seems to blur into one long day beginning and ended with trips to IKEA to buy new furniture and (faux) plants. My mum is waiting on a new kidney and so my brother and I have been helping her get her room ready for her weeks of bedrest. I must say, I am becoming a flat-pack building monster.

I’m currently binge watching House Of Cards which is why this will be a short post. If you’ve watched or are in the midst of season 3 let me know what you think. I’m so stressed out just watching it, I can’t even imagine dealing with these people. I like a good debate but I’m pretty sure I would end up crying if Kevin Spacey shouted at me. And so, I don’t think I’ll be aiming towards becoming president of the United States or prime minister Russia anytime soon. I know you’ll all be very disappointed by this decision but we must all be wary of our capabilities and boundaries.
