I don’t know about you guys but finding Hull-based Halloween shenanigans this year has been more difficult than usual. Usually, Facebook is pummelling us with Halloween in Hull party events and special club nights around this time of year, but so far I’ve only gotten sick of seeing one or two different event pages. So, I thought I’d have a skeg and see what’s going on.
Halloween Bloodfest, O’Rileys
Each year O’Riley’s hosts a Halloween party with music, blood and beer. This year The Antiquity, XIII, Irontooth and Henrietta Lacks will all be performing.

Some of you may have noticed that Wolfpack has been missing for a while, but thankfully it’s just moved to Tunnel where they’ll be kicking this new era off with the ever popular Wolfpack Halloween Special.

Nightmare on George Street, Club Valbon
Club Valbon are proper into Halloween, with Night on George Street being just one of the events they’re throwing this year. There’s said to be special guests, costume competitions, themed cocktails and plenty of other events, you simply have to turn up looking spooky.

Halloween @ Bar82
Bar82 throw a Halloween party every year, but this time they’ve really upped their game by partnered with Grey Goose. There will also be a DJ on until midnight, though the bat won’t actually close until 3am.

Cult Cinema Sunday is always a great time, so I can guarantee their Halloween special screening is going to be great. We dunno what the movie is yet but I sure am excited to find out.

The Nightmare Project, Club Valbon
Over at Club Valbon, they’re throwing a Halloween party unlike any you’ve ever seen before with “insane” decorations, live performers and litres upon litres of fake blood. Tickets are currently on sale at £5 and guests are encouraged to go out with their costumes.
