Guys. It’s September tomorrow. SEPTEMBER. I mean, I love autumn as much as the next person and far more than summer, but this year is just slipping by too swiftly. August 2016 was by far the speediest month so far for me, though this may be because I was constantly busy being the hostess with the mostest.
At the beginning of August I accompanied by grandad on a trip to Germany where I met some very important people, however they’ve asked me not to blog about it so I’m afraid this is the most anticlimactic sentence I’ve ever written. As soon as I got home (literally) I accompanied April, Charlotte and Rosy to Humber Street Sesh as Rosy was home for her birthday. Needless to say, there were many naps that week, though I did wake up long enough to spend some more time with Rosy before she left for Madrid.
Later, after reorganising the house and going with mum to her first dialysis treatment, Jonny came down from Durham to spend five days in sunny Hull. I love Jonny to bits and we had a fantastic time, although I wish he hadn’t taught me how to play Yu-Gi-Oh because now I’m a little bit obsessed. Amartya also came up from Stoke to see Jonny, though we did have two days alone after Jonny left as I don’t think we’ll be able to see each other until November now.
Anyway, I have to go and do some more errands now so I’ll leave you with some pictures. Hope you had an amazing August!
